Alay Kapwa Alumni Spotlight: Jobelle

Thanks to the commitment and support of our sponsors, Jobelle, star of our Cards of Hope video, graduated with a degree in Accounting from Cebu Institute of Technology University! She has been a focused and high achieving student, and we know she will be an excellent addition to the company smart enough to hire her!

Not only has Jobelle excelled in academics, she spends her free time in service of others in need in the Philippines. She took part in Unilab Foundation Ideas Positive Competition. Unilab Foundation Ideas Positive. The Ideas Positive Competitionon is an annual national competition that partners with youth in the Philipinnes to find innovative solutions to community health issues. Students form a team of five members and propose a project that addresses a health problem in their communities.

Jobelle co-lead a project called Achieving Healthier Communities Through Improved Access to Water. The project was selected as a national finalists and the team received funding to implement the project in a rural community in need. Jobelle continues to be involved in Unilab while she searches for job in accounting.
